Larry W. Ritter, O.D.

Dr. Ritter is a native of Pennsylvania. A graduate of Pennsylvania State University, he received both his BS and OD degrees from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry graduating in 1972. He did graduate work and clinical teaching at the University of Houston College of Optometry receiving his MS degree in Physiological Optics in 1977. He served as an optometry officer in the U.S. Army from 1972 to 1974 and joined the Eye Care and Eye Wear Center of Maine in 1978. Dr. Ritter is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and the College of Optometrists in Vision Development, a mamber of the American Optometric Association and the Maine Optometric Association. He is licensed by the Maine Board of Optometry for the treatment of eye disease and glaucoma.
