Eric T. Roush, O.D.
Dr. Roush joined the Eye Care and Eye Wear Center of Maine in August 2005. He is a third generation optometrist, following in the footsteps of his father, grandfather, and uncle. He received his undergraduate degree in Biology in 1998 from Indiana University and his optometry degree in 2002 from the Indiana University School of Optometry. Dr. Roush received additional training in ocular disease management through internships at the VA Medical Center in Huntington, West Virginia and the Guanajuato Optometric Clinic in Guanajuato, Mexico. Dr. Roush specializes in dry eye management, diabetic eye care, glaucoma, and complex contact lens fits. He is an active member of the American Optometric Association, the Maine Optometric Association, and he serves as a director on board of the Maine Optometric Association. He is licensed by the Maine Board of Optometry for Therapeutic Advanced Glaucoma Authority, which is the highest level of licensure offered by the state. He lives in Portland with his wife and son.
